Really good video. One of the best I have seen on the topic. Nicely done! I look forward to more.

Great explanation! Thank you. I'm about to take my Vascular registry exam and your ultrasound videos do a much better job at explaining waveforms than Edelman 's ESP seminar. thank you so very very much.

I believe the arrow is pointing to valve closure. The empty space in between the respiration is valsava.

Do you have any protocol for imaging for May Thurner’s syndrome? What is considered a positive and can it happen to the right leg also?

hi! so do we completely avoid augmenting if a thrombus is found, or you just skip augmentation at the location of the clot?

Hi Annie. Great Question. When you are performing local compression (to check for DVT), you are indirectly performing augmentation for a more proximal window. So you do not have to avoid augmentation. If you feel comfortable, you can always ask the patient to perform a toe plantar flexion (which would do the same thing).

Yes, Venous ultrasound physiology is a complex topic. Is there one thing in particular that was difficult to comprehend?
