After 5 weeks of hard work behind the scenes, we have finally completed the development and construction of the ventilator prototype!
With the collaboration of Université Saint-Esprit Kaslik (Holy Spirit University of Kaslik - USEK) and the Notre Dame des Secours University Hospital, the final prototype has currently been launched under the name of "AmbuVent"
A simple and easy to manufacture ventilator, following the worldwide standards for health and safety.
The main medical components of this ventilator abide by the standards of Project Libnor, having added an advanced electronic monitoring system that allows the medical staff to control and monitor its operation.
The ventilator was successfully tested in the hospital ICU under the supervision of Dr. Pierre Edde, the director of the intensive care unit at the hospital.
This ventilator is locally made and easy to manufacture, and capable of saving human lives. We thank our general manager Tony Haddad and everyone involved for spearheading this initiative to help #Lebanon in its time of need.
