Hello from England ELVIS died 2 days before my 12th birthday. I have been a FAN ever since Having watched lots of videos about ELVIS and his "backstory" they make me think so much more about the years that have passed, even since the start of the live shows 1969/70 -50 + WHAT WAS IT ABOUT ELVIS? He was JUST SO DIFFERENT. HE HAD A STYLE OF HIS OWN and he was BULLIED FOR THIS AT SCHOOL. I hear RED had to "RESCUE ELVIS" from BULLIES at school? ELVIS HAD DREAMS and he achieved HIS DREAMS to the end and it was RIGHT TO THE VERY END At 2.11 into this clip Vernon mentions the security that ELVIS had to had else the FANS would RUSH THE STAGE. I believe that one woman did manage to get on stage and rushed Elvis and broke some of his TEETH. As Vernon says ALL ELVIS WANTED TO DO WAS MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY and again he achieved this And one other thing i would like to add to this comment is I only PRAY that the "memphis mafia" guys and i mean all of them, even George Klein went to HEAVEN having NO REGRETS. THEY DID THEIR BEST AND LOVED ELVIS. There are not many alive now who knew ELVIS. Jerry Schilling and i also add Larry Geller -AGAIN i hope thy DO NOT HAVE ANY REGRETS -THEY DID THEIR BEST.
