even if Lord is the actual translation, it still identifies that Lord as Jesus Christ. The context of verse 5 is about Jesus because the previous verse is about Jesus, and verse 4 even calls Jesus "Lord", so if the next verse says "Lord", then context tells us that that Lord is Jesus in that verse.

You are right, the context from verse 4 shows its most likely Jesus in verse 5. The King James Bible i think renders verse 4 wrong since nearly all other bibles render it as the ESV does.

Doesn't this text actually have to do with Joshua? Who led the people into the promised land and fought many battles destroying unbelievers?

Thank you for taking your time to make this Video Brother...One thing we all must remember is that the scripture speaks of the son(Jesus Christ-the anointed one-) inheriting a name >Hebrews 1:4 KJV Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they..... You can only inherit what was there. Now if he(the son of God) did inherit a name, the Question is...Who is or was the Holder of that name...So if the Scriptures says that JESUS did save the People from the Land of Egypt, that should be considered as a revelation as from whom Jesus Christ (the anointed one) got his name from....! And Yes,the name of God is JESUS.

I would like to know just WHEN, Historically speaking, was this flawed Translation----i.e., "Jesus," added.
