The May 29 EMSL LEARN webinar focused on vertical profiles of aerosol properties using the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) user facility's ArcticShark.
ArcticShark is an uncrewed aerial system used to obtain in situ atmospheric measurements. Researchers can access capabilities at the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL) and ARM through calls for proposals.
EMSL's webinar features the following:
Fan Mei discusses ArcticShark capabilities, including instruments, flight profiles and related research
Zezhen (Jay) Cheng presents on particle collection, using an integration of EMSL's Size and Time-Resolved Aerosol Collector into the ArcticShark
Xena Mansoura talks about microscopy analysis of particles collected via ArcticShark
Gregory Vandergrift presents on the molecular composition of organic aerosol from ArcticShark
