Elvis at age 37 playing Madison Square Garden in June 1972. He played four concerts with 20,000 attending each show. Bowie, Lennon, George Harrison, Paul Simon were among the celebrities at these shows. Two of the four concerts were recorded and have been officially released. You can hear Elvis and his band together with the audience almost blew the roof off the building. Some of best shows Elvis performed.

I'm not going to judge Elvis Period !! He had a gift And I was lucky enough to live in that era ! Being a musican Daughter let me say this . It's a hard life , but let me before All else say this . Every musican ive known is more religious with Stronger beliefs than most even realize . I think it's because they're judged harshly moreso than anyone else . Sin is everywhere people , it's in the church and in all types of entertainment . But as Christ said , judge not thy neighbor but thine own self first . So I will abide by Christ words vs others and I will judge myself in doing so . Rip Elvis

Clickbait title, this isn't rare at all. You can go into any music shop worldwide and order this to buy, or order it online. It's a 3 disc set called Elvis prince from another planet. It's news footage recorded at Madison Square Garden. All known footage recorded at MSG is on this set including this footage. It's been available for purchase long before you uploaded it here, and actually made the charts when it was released.

vern wallen ... totally agree with you! Even without doing the drugs I don't think Elvis would have lived to be a ripe old man in his 80's today. It would have been too degrading and depressing for him! He was into glamour, looking young, the young beautiful women, VANITY, materialism and even though he gave plenty to others he would have still had other vices that would have eventually killed him. Because of vanity he couldn't have lived his life as an old man and aged gracefully. Sad but true! I think it was his time to go at such a young age because even though he did it to himself it was just meant to be for someone of his caliber and sins as a human being.
@professionalgamer1697

EmeraldJade66 True, he was very much into glamour and image and for the last few years of his life he was struggling to live up to his own image. the huge jump suits, big glasses, giant wigs tons of makeup foundation to try and take away the year's and he ends up looking comical. He would have as you said 'Hated to have grown old'. Nobody to blame but himself, he wanted that lifestyle it was his choice. Can't blame his legendary manager who made him what he wanted to be or his Dr.. He'd have bought drugs elsewhere if the Dr wasn't giving it to him
@EmeraldJade66
7 жыл бұрын
Professional Gamer ... Exactly! Thanks for agreeing. Elvis had true God given talent but instead of using it the right way he "chose" to use it the wrong way as with most celebs. If he had played his cards right and followed what his heart told him each and every day and not agreed to everything his manager and others told him to do I think he would have made it by a ripe old age and gracefully at that. I think even at Priscilla's age today which I think she's 70, Elvis still would have looked very handsome and still had it going on even more so with his music and stage presence but again he "chose" to do what he did with his life and could never put the blame on anyone else because he was his own person and lived his own life regardless who was around him or tried to tell him what to do and what not. It's just really heartbreaking and sad because he had one of the best singing voices to ever grace the history of music past and present. He was blessed with much more than the average person and what many people have in life and yet "chose" death instead while he was still so very young. That's the real question and mystery of Elvis if you ask me. Personally I don't think it was just the addiction to prescription drugs I think it went much deeper than that like back to the "vanity" thing and aging. Regardless, he's been gone for a long time now. We should just remember his music and not all this talk about thinking he's still alive and how beautiful and sexy he was. That's the key word "was".

Lorna Thompson ... Totally agree that it was his own fault and yes indeed he was a sick man full of sin and yes we all are to some extent a little or a lot but with Elvis to me he came across as a "false" or "fake" Christian. One minute he's wanting to do Gospel but the next he's wanting to get wrapped up in the material things of life and loved women too much too not just one but many and carried on with them outside of marriage. I too loved Elvis but never ever did I worship him or love him to the point of thinking he was God or something as we are not to worship idols of the earth only God before all and anything! It's just sad to think that Elvis had it ALL compared to most humans on this earth and yet decided to seal his fate when he started getting hooked on drugs. For someone smart he should have known they are addictive and you will eventually die from them! Adding too if he had some kind of genetic heart problem didn't help. He was careless in his ways and very contradictory and complex. Sad very sad. P.S. - I really feel he would have never kept his immense fame to this day had he lived to be 80. I think his fame and stardom would have faded to some extent as only his past would have been the most celebrated and not the present as an old man he would have been today. Just couldn't see someone like Elvis in today's society. He was an old soul and I feel the era he grew up in was the perfect time and era for him!! Again his life story is so beyond sad but true and a prime lesson for us all to live by. God is telling us to learn by his life and to not worship idols on this earth. Life is fleeting but eternity is for real and NEVER ENDS!!! That's where it's all at and what we need to get prepared for while we are here on earth living our lives. I'm pretty sure if Elvis could come back from the grave and tell us all what it was like he would beg to do it all over again the RIGHT and GOOD way and not the way he had done it. Really liked your comment thanks! Peace and Love to all!

@@EmeraldJade66 Very well said and I completely agree with you, I'm convinced the Christian angle was more about selling records in the bible belt, trying to cover all bases, he certainly loved the trappings of wealth, sleeping around, drug taking, etc etc. Strange as it may seem, but him dying when he did, Added to his legacy, if he lived even another 10 years he'd have been a washed up entertainer doing the circuit and living off of old hits. Even in the early 70s his live shows consisted of mainly revamped versions of his 50s hits, his Image was created in the 1950s, by the time of his death he looked like a middle age man still clinging onto his youth. I liked his earlier music, he was a great singer but he really should have bowed out in the early 1960s when he was still excellent, after that he was just living off of past fame, die hard fans who'd watch anything with Elvis in it or buy any of his record's regardless of how good it actually was
