All fairly simple on a Vespa. Nice Video. I'm loving mine but over here in England it is going Rusty underneath which is a big disappointment. But it looks brilliant & matches my White VW T5 !

Thanks for the video! It was a great help! I have a GT200l (my daily driver) and a 1967 Sprint! I have a video of my GT in Cape Town and a few videos of my Sprint on my vlog. Thanks for this video, however, I follows your instructions and changed my oil! My bike feels like new!

What if you handtighten the oil filter and turn it another 1/4. What torq will you get then?

Spare wheel for a scooter is must.In south Asia the modern equipment for repair of punctured tyre is scarcely available and dragging a scooter with flat tyre is impossible, therefoe I strongly suggest that either a spare tyre or a compact tyre be provided with Vespa.

Does not help mucho as it is pain to try a change on the roadside. And need alla the wrenches and air-pumps with you. -and if we think about roadside-problems, what about empty battery? You cannot run-start a vespa.

Great Video! I like to bungee one of the brake handles and lean the Vespa on a wall (When Draining the Oil). By not having to use the center stand it's a little easier and less messy but you do have to be careful. It also makes it a little easier to lean the bike left and right to get all the oil out. Ride it like you stole it!!! Fat Cat Scooter Glen

Hello my friend. I strained the oil plug seat a little while changing the oil. The screw is solid, but I stripped the slot, the place where the screw went in. The master came and closed the gasket again. The liquid seal lasted. Is the liquid seal safe? Will I have a problem after a certain period of time due to overheating while driving long distances? This is the first time in my life that I see such a product. I looked online. The whole world uses it. Do you think there will be a problem? Thank you please.

I used to be a service tech. You should run the engine after adding the oil and before checking the level. The oil won't saturate and fill the filter or pump until after the engine has been on, so checking the level beforehand is an inaccurate pointless step and might give you a higher reading than is actually in the oil pan. Fill the oil, run the engine for about 15 seconds, then check level. What you did in the video made you run it without enough oil.

Dude you must have been a scooter in your previous life!!!! Amazing work man! Just found your channel today. I’ve had all kinds of bikes.... from Honda 500r. Fzr250. Cbr600rr 1000rr triumph rocket 🚀 Harley wide glide and many more. ...... but last year I got myself a Honda Forza 300. Dude. The most fun I have had in two wheels in years. Living in the U.K. I’ve found it’s pointless having a Supersport bike. Don’t get me wrong they are lovely machines. But you can’t “legally “ enjoy their full potential! Unless you fork out for track days every other weekend. Nah. I’ve finally found my sweet spot:-))). It’s scooters for me for the next few years that’s for sure. I saw that video on the Honda elite rebuild..... the little red one. Dude you have the patience of a Saint!!!! Hahaha keep smiling:-). Have you even worked on a Forza before?

Hi Michal, on a most modern Vespa scooters, they specify Screwing down Completely the dipstick. And yes, most other metric bikes you just push in to test. Vespas are quirky and that's what makes them special. Want to really be blow away, look at the required service on a Vespa vs. most Japan scooters and you won't believe how much more is required. But you gotta love 'em to own them :-)
