Ephesians 6:10-18 says, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless.

Veteran here as well and I went through the same thing in my divorce. Separated for 6 months before she filed for divorce claiming abuse and that I threatened her life because I own guns. All lies and no factual proof whatsoever. Judge still sided with her. I was barely able to see my son for 3 years until the final hearing. After she got the protection from abuse order and the continuation after the 1st year, she then went for criminal charges and won that as well. I did nothing and we weren't even living in the same zip code. I was given 90 days jail, luckily suspended, and 1yr probation all based upon lies and manipulation. I had never even had so much as a speeding ticket or DUI on my record. Completely spotless record. I agree with this guy 100%. I am disgusted with this country that I took an oath for. Sad that this corruption is happening all over this country and one of the reasons it happens is because judges are given immunity and know they can get away with it no matter what the law says. In my opinion, that is a criminal act. No different than regular citizen breaking the law knowing that they are breaking the law. I would not go as far as burning my uniform, however, I understand where he is as I have been there and I still think about it on a daily basis. I think this is also why recruiting rates have been steadily decreasing as well. On top of people realizing they are fighting for a government that doesn't care about them, they are realizing the corruption within the system and want no part in it. Also, I do not believe that one should have to change or act different to appease someone else. You are who you are. PTSD received from fighting to defend your country so these corrupt people can be free and safe should never be used against you.

If you see this, my grandfather was a 75th Ranger in Vietnam.. Our family has fought in almost every major wars in the 20th century (great grandmother has stories of her grandparents fighting at the Battle of Little Big Horn)… He lost his buddies in Vietnam and was the few of his groups to come back. 16 Lakota warriors died in Vietnam and he knew or grew up all of them. After Vietnam when he came back, he came back to the Wounded Knee protest where his own countrymen (whites) killed a couple unarmed Natives… He was furious about it and it wasn’t until months later he would burn all of his uniforms same as you with the medals he earned… Only things he kept of copies of action reports of each of his squads doings: peacetime, kills, what he saw in the burnt villages…. he kept it to remember to confess to the Lord…. I never saw him talk about it and I never understood it until he did to my mom when she was a teen. She remembered him crying his eyes out on the things he did and losing his best friend since boarding school.. I read his reports and see why he never told his grandkids or anyone else…. It was something out of a horror movie and made me sick. I didn’t think he’d be capable of killing over 73+ with his squadron combined of how of a sweet old man he was… So he told me if I ever enlisted, don’t go down the route he did. He was anti-military up to his death and afterwards. I don’t blame him. As much as I like this country, you make sacrifices enlisting. Nowadays, what are we fighting for? Battles are fought in drones and if not, we’re using a smaller country to fight a bigger country through proxy and handing them our weapons…. The Cold War never ended in my opinion. We should have pulled out of the Middle East after Bin Laden. I never want any of my friends/comrades to see battles. I don’t want them to enlist and if they did, do an admin job like I did for a better education. Wars are not fought as they did back then for the US 🇺🇸. Drones, highest bidders, and Mercs are fighting our wars to avoid a bigger conflict nowadays.

If you do that, make sure I come home to a country as free as the one I left, then I consider that an equal transaction - no matter how lopsided. I'll die for your rights so that you can fight for mine." If this Veteran truly got hit with a Guilty Verdict on attempting to make someone leave their property, knife, gun or harsh language - that is a crime against Freedom and Veterans everywhere. It wasn't just the Government that failed him, it's We The People who failed to keep our Government in check so that he could live a peaceful life. I wish you didn't have to burn your uniform. People like that would take any opportunity to screw someone else over, I’m speaking from experience, trust me.... we have all known the justice system is corrupt as well, that’s been going on for 30-40 years now. Bottom line is that this man wants to be a victim. Idk whoever told him that all of America would thank him for his sacrifice.... no... indeed our soldiers fight for the freedom of citizens to spit upon them and burn flags as well... freedom comes at a hefty price to any person willing to further its cause. I guess all this is to say screw that lady, she was wrong and she has it all coming back around. But damn son if that’s all the skin you possess I have no fucking clue how you served a week, let alone 12 years. This alone messed me up and caused more ptsd then combat the fact that anyone can be locked up because of lies

@Elemental Flanders With all due respect, don't speak for vets because you are way off the pulse on what makes us so disappointed in our country. You cite surface points, go deeper is all I'm saying and see that the soul of America is rotten and it's people no longer live and work for each other. It's nothing but selfishness and presuming we are evil and damaged for defending them and all they have to say to make themselves feel good about it is "I didn't ask you to serve", like it was ever their fucking decision. I stand with this vet, because civilians don't have a goddamn clue.
