I'm not interested in paying to send people halfway around the world to topple crooked regimes if the cost is the deaths of millions of innocent people, a power vacuum and ultimately a country left in no better position than it was before we intervened. Which was the last conflict we were involved in where we intervened at the correct time, acted on accurate intelligence, conducted ourselves in an appropriate way whilst involved, the "collateral damage" justified the reward, and left a positive lasting legacy for the people of that nation? There are many ordinary people making sacrifices in many different ways. What I fail to understand is the number of ordinary people going out of their way to defend and even support the behaviour of this government. If Boris was an isolated case he wouldn’t last as the Tories would have to let him go but he’s spawned a legion of cloned cultists who think their route to remain in power need not be inconvenienced by truth, decency or even competence - personified by the arch fishwife-in-chief Nadine Dorries.

Everybody needs to remember that the politicians you get are the ones you vote for. We can all see who and what they are, but they only got there after years of encouragement and reinforcement from the voting public. The same goes for Brexit. If you don't like it and didn't vote for it, then you didn't do enough, like maybe you stayed home and watched football instead of voting.

Ah yes, blame the oppressed and suffering for their oppressors. The political system has been designed to perpetuate this imbalance. The landowners, the big business owners, the rich only get there by treading on the poor at some point. The massive tragedy is how so many of the oppressed have been conditioned to allow this, in the foolish idea that it benefits them.

This is how it starts... Most of us from 3rd world countries that come here see how most of the politicians today are starting to resemble the ones at home. If Boris gets away with this, he'll get away with more. Then the next politician will be better than him, not as crass as he is. Gradually what made a great nation like the UK will gradually be undermined. It is the anger of the British people that's needed now. One strong message that this should not continue, or else, in a few decades, we will be welcoming you to our club, of corrupt countries 😂

I am a foreigner living in the UK but I have to agree with Him a 100% (please donvt say if you don't like it...) . I lived here for 17 years and it is the worst I have seen. They still dare to call themselfs "honourable colleague" when most of them got no honour. What they did with us during the pa demuc was horrible and uncovered how corrupt they are. Bunch of spoiled mates looking after themselfs. We need a 3 party somewhere in the middle as left and right both loosing their mind fighting for their agenda and not for people of this country.

This caller is absolutely right in everything he says, it's not just his opinion, he is indisputably correct. Having listened to him I am even more annoyed about the current government than before, and that's saying something. But, the thing that absolutely makes me seethe is that I know, if Johnson and his cronies listened to this, it wouldn't make a jot of difference to how they behave, THAT'S how despicable and self serving they are..... It's truly mind boggling. They must be voted out.
