I might copy that basin tool set up. I've been using the ridgid EZ wrench, and it works good, but its bulky. That set up I think will take up less space in my bag, which is a constant struggle as you very well know it appears. Hello from Oregon.

I enjoy your channel for quite a while now, (from Germany) and one question drives me nuts. Why are tool belts, pouches, bags so popular in anglo-american countries? In our country tool cases are more common (for example “Parat Werkzeugtasche“) Could you try to explain why a belt is more popular in the us? Greetings from Europe
@MillisConstruction
2 жыл бұрын
Tool belts I’ve never been much of a fan of, I wear the Blaklader pants and that’s pretty much my tool belt. I think every part of the world just has a lot of their own style. Even here in the US, carpenters on the east and west coasts wear different rigs and run different setups. For me a tool belt just has too much risk of damaging things when I’m working since I’m almost always working in a finished space. Where a framer wouldn’t be worried about that aspect at all. You guys don’t use tool belts even on framing jobs, exterior siding etc?
@timoboudier6235

@@MillisConstruction Scaffolders, some carpenters, plasterers... but you see it rarely. Only trades with zero to less tools, for example (in our region; soutwest Germany) you will find no electrician, plumberer or mechanic using a tool belt. Unfortunately where I live in Europe I can not buy Vito bags, but today I come to USA and I gonna try to buy one small bag that I can fit in my luggage bag .Do you have some recommendations which bag should I buy to enter the Vito world?
