Over the past week, My team designed, built and competed with our robot, named Samwise Gamjeff, simply referred to as Jeff. This is my reflection on the build, going over what I used and what I learned from my first competition. I hesitate to call it a Reveal, as it won't be competing in any tournaments (we had members on the team from several local schools so competing would be logistically difficult), but I believe that this could help some people find inspiration for their robots.
Note 1: We had trouble at one point with a ball getting stuck under the robot and high centering it, this could be remedied by either putting a flat plate on the bottom of the robot or by putting more barriers around the intake.
Note 2: The intakes could have been linked together instead of using two motors, but due to the fact we were not trying to budget our motors, it was just easier to use two motors.
