Great stuff! I want to do a lot of this kind of stuff. Very motivating to see your hard work, since even though I haven't done this kind of stuff, as a graphic designer and light motion graphic artist, I know that a demo reel like this would definitely take a TON of work. I admit again I have not done a any of this kind of stuff that you have done, and do; but If you want any constructive criticism from a graphic designer and keen eye for design principles, balance, and composition, read below. If not, please do disregard by all means. Seems like a lot of the vfx could use more time on the lighting and blending, as they had somewhat of a "plugged in look". Hud interface stuff could use some more time in adding artifacts such as opacity changes on parts of it depending on where you are looking, fades on areas of the elements to give some reflection or depth, to sell looking at a screen. I guess overall for your reel, just looks like it needs more passes for blending and practical artifacts, and lens depth of field of your camera to give it that cinematic look. If that is what you were intending anyway. As with anything, time is hard to come by, but looks great. I only wanted to mention these things out of constructive criticism, and because I really liked your work and found it motivating. Thanks for making. I want to get into this kind of stuff. Is it hard to get work for vfx and motion graphics when starting out? any tips on finding work and or gigs? Or do you mainly just work for studios, and or agencies? Thanks man! great stuff!
