I was at his college in 1993 and he actually watched me did two serves and told me what to correct. Thanks 🙏 Vic RIP.

Thank you for some great instruction. I've always been a believer in a lower toss and your video showed why it works

Ryan when I threw up the Ball toss high like Linda I had more problems cuz the wind would blow or if I use the back scratch like labor I would lose power cuz I wouldn't be using the kinetic chain I'll be using too much of all arm

Yeah a lot of top pros think it's the wrist snap I read several books where they think it's the wrist snap that generates the power but no it's the arm pronation but they say that happens naturally without thinking about it and it's actually the wrist snap that gives you the power but you're right it's not it's actually if you stop that shoulder and let the arms snap it gives you like a it's kind of like fly fishing like throwing using the fishing pole

Will always my partner that I played on a regular basis his head would always go up and then come down and then he'd have to double thought or his serve would be inconsistent and I always tell him keep your head up you got to hit up and out like a midget you you have to be like six foot 11 in order to actually get down so it's not going to happen you hit up and out like a midget you let gravity take the ball down so it really helps because I've read the book so much and I've made so much money teaching tennis lessons out of it and continue to make money because everybody wants to know why my forehand is so good or this particular shot

Ic is correct on this as the back scratch is within the flow never as a stop point
@douglashagan65

Yeah you thought from the fingertips up like a flower that's the way I do it cuz if you let that ball sink into your palm that's a problem

See that forehand that was shoulder to Chin on the follow through now on his back and would be Ada but I mean by that is Eric to armpit air to armpit ATA

Radicals up and out and not down and keep your head up and you shoulder stops because of the toss when you have the proper toss comes up from the palm and the rackets taken back with the Palm down you get that loot natural pronation and a fly caster like
@douglashagan65

Yeah I have the front foot putting towards the right map post and the back is foot is parallel to the baseline
@douglashagan65

What to do if you make a complete shoulder rotation and that racket doesn't go down it goes around more horizontal and then comes around and the shoulders stops like a fly caster the arm takes off that's what gives you the power you don't muscle the ball get the full shoulder rotation stop the front shoulder then get that whipper snapper effect like a fly caster
@douglashagan65

Yeah people they drop their head or turn their head around because they want to see if they're serve goes in but in your book your serve is in don't look cuz if you bring the head down it won't be in
@douglashagan65

Yeah they keep the foot anchored the front foot and they keep that front toe down but Kevin turns front toe came up and you're not supposed to you're supposed to keep that foot flat anchored at a 45 to The net post then the back foot can come around

Interesting you have the ball out in front of you but to the left most spinners throw it behind their head that's other top but a lot of pros like you they have it in front of their body not behind their heads
@douglashagan65

Hey come across the ball hit it about 1:00 or 2:00 toss but out in front of your body
@douglashagan65

That's because people think they can hit down on the ball so what they do is they go up and then they try to hit down on the ball and you can't let your six foot 11 so you got to be like a midget and hit up and out keep your chin up keep you arm loose
