It's really interesting to compare this one to the clips of her very first appearance on the show in July 1987. Her acting is way better after 4 years, and it's no lie when she says "Another World" was her "acting college". You can see a lot of the characteristic Anne Heche mannerisms in this clip that you don't see in her debut one. Also worth adding that over those 4 years, she went from pretty to downright stunning.

I have noticed that Anne Heche's Marley didn't seem to have the crisis of faith that Jensen Buchanan's Marley would down the road in a matter of months. Do you think it's because the writers thought the chemistry between Buchanan & Russell Todd was not as electric as it was between Heche & Todd? Had Heche stayed with the show, would Marley & Jamie have lasted? Interesting things to ponder. For me, Buchanan's Marley definitely belonged with Chris Bruno's Dennis Wheeler but for some reason I can't picture Heche's Marley with anyone but Todd's Jamie Frame. Anyone else?
