My breakdown of rankings in NBA history is that we shouldn’t be ranking players from completely different eras vs each other because the eras are too different and because they all have different circumstances just counting rings , stats or accolades isn’t fair so we should rank by tiers by decade. Tier 1 The Goat Conversation Tier 60s Russell/Wilt 70s Kareem/Dr. J (ABA included) 80s Magic/Bird 90s Jordan/Hakeem 00s Duncan/Shaq 10s LeBron/ Steph 20s Jokic/Giannis/Luka tbd If Wemby stays healthy enough to be in the goat conversation he will probably have to have more prime seasons in the 2030s because he will only have 6 seasons in the 2020s. I can’t see Wemby staying healthy and ending up a tier 2 player tbh but if somehow if he doesn’t improve over his career like I expect tier 2 is amazing company Tier 2 60s West/Big O 70s Barry 80s Moses 90s K. Malone 00s Kobe 10s Durant 20s Embiid/ SGA/Tatum tbd

Per 36 means absolutely nothing. People need to stop acting like it does. You cannot say that just because a player put up such and such numbers during a smaller frame of time, they would automatically continue to put up those numbers at the exact same clip over a longer span of time. Great video but never mention Lebron ever again in the same sentence as MJ or the GOAT. Lebron is not in the GOAT conversation. At all. He may have had many finals appearances, but he has the worst record in the finals of any top player and only did it after insisting on having 2 other all stars around him. No other GOAT needed that. Lebron's record in the finals is 4-6 and it's abysmal. Curry has a better record than him. Of course MJ does as well. Lebron is the king of the flop and single-handedly responsible for instituting the flop rule. Not exactly what a GOAT does. He also didn't change the game of basketball. MJ changed the game. Even Curry - changed the game of basketball. Lebron didn't change anything. Beside introducing the flop rule. Lebron is also not the "best" at anything. Curry is seen as the best shooter the game has ever seen. MJ is seen as just the straight best player period. Kareem had the skyhook. Magic was the best passer. Lebron isn't the "best" at anything - besides putting his head down and bullying his way to the rim then throwing up a wild shot and hoping the refs bail him out. He is a terrible shooter. Most of his points come from open lay-ups that his team dish up to him and that's because he doesn't play defense and jumps the gun off rebounds and cherry picks. Watch any game. It's right there in front of your face. The only reason why Lebron has the all time scoring record is because he is - on purpose staying in the league for as long as possible and stat padding and "load managing". Of course if you hang around forever - your stats will go up. No other player did that. His all time scoring record is meaningless as a result. During a time where the league has eased the defense to increase offense? C'mon now. On top of it, he sits out most games when he feels like it because of "load management." Just recently played the all star game and played like trash - but then sits out the very next regular season game because of "his ankle"? No other "great" ever did that. MJ certainly would never do that. MJ played every game - while injured and also scored through way tougher defenses. Go back and watch the tapes. Lebron wouldn't have been shit back in MJ's era. Not even a question. Great players always play the game. Please stop with the Lebron nonsense. He's a straight bum and a hindrance to most teams and the NBA and has been for a long time. Lebron made the game of basketball WORSE. He plays ZERO defense and the Lakers actually lose more games when he plays. Look at the numbers. Lebron is a bum. Stop including his name in the GOAT conversation. You're just being brainwashed by the media that constantly pushes this bum. Look at the numbers. He's trash. Yes - I care about this - because he's one of the most trash players in the NBA and it's wild to see people mindlessly talk about him in the GOAT conversation when it couldn't be further from the truth. Again - just look at the numbers.. Straight up. Victor Wembanyama - however - will be in that conversation.

Anyone who anyting about B-ball knows Wilt is the GOAT of Goats. Period. All other arguments are basewd on ignorance. Victor has the potential to move into 2nd place, but Wilt played a different game from everyne else. Wilt was so dominant that they had to change the rules to make it harder for him to dominate. The NBA changed the rules to make the game easier for MJ and Shaq. That tells you everything you need to know about the GOAT.
