Awesome content. Do you recommend a D4 over a Land Cruiser?

Thank you for sharing this video, it was the best experience we shared with you Shadz, and seriously these 4 wheel drives are made for these kind of trips.

My Disco has done the length of Oz 4 times off-road now - about 100,000km of off-road out of 170,000, and many great tracks such as the Gibb, Strez, Oodnadatta, Savannah way, Plenty and god knows what else. The only times its ever had a problem have been operator error (oops, who needs more than 2 wheel studs on the road to lorella springs). They are enormously competent and comfortable vehicles with amazing capacity to get places. Great to see a group in a run together. One note though….be really careful with the TuffAnt steelies….make sure you torque your nuts every day….I didn’t and that was how I ended up missing three wheel studs in Limmen National Park….

Hi Shadz, I am looking to upgrade my tyres and rims and keen to hear you experience and what you have on the Grey Disco. Any other mods needed or did they go straight on…How is it on hwy’s. Etc. Thanks in advance and will subscribe to see more.

Hi Ian, Ive got 18nch Tuff Ant steelies. Their alloys weren’t available at the time but if I were to do it again I would get the alloys they look much better. No mods with the Tuff ants. Highway no real difference

Great to see the D4s out where they belong! Was Mt Pinnibar and the Tom Groggin crossing open?
