This is one of the best videos in KZitem period. I love my Tinker Deluxe and now I understand the pliers so much better. I collect SAK, both Wenger and Victorinox. I don’t do KZitem but I use Instagram pretty much photographing my EDC gear. Thank you for this great vid! 🙏😊

Another great video, thank you. I really liked the stabilizing base idea. You could use the sliding knot that you showed for locking the jaws for the retrieval system to lock the jaws for the stabilizing base without having to nearly close the pliers to do that.

Yes, these pliers are fantastic. Stronger than Wenger ones. And that crimping tool is quite good for fastening connectors. If used properly there almost no difference between using these and large one designed for it. Of course for certain size connectors but used the most in electronics.

Awsome video, I'll soon be buying the deluxe tinkerer as I already have the spirit x for higher duty tasks. Quick question, do the pliers on your multitool play from side to side, not where they are ment to open and close but otherwise, mine have about a milimiter of wiggle. Thank you very much from neighbouring bulgaria 😅

Really excellent collection of tips and tricks! Thank you very much! I could not hear, though, at 20:35, from what did you make the surgical needle? It looks like it has a pre-made eye for threading the suture, which is nice. Was it just a straight sewing needle? Did you sharpen the point with the file? What makes the best suture material that will hold without pulling through or abrading the skin? I think maybe 10# test monofilament fishing line? Also you can use the pliers to hold the needle when sewing the wound shut - aka a needle driver. Gives you better grip on the needle and better torque pushing it through the skin. There will likely be some bleeding and tissue fluid which will make the needle quite slippery in the fingers, even with gloves. The pliers would give you better control and you can work faster. ATB!
@nikgyver7

i make the needle from a paper clip.i sharp the tip with the meta file,i used the pliers to make the back edge of the needle flat to create a spot to tie the string,it was just an example to show how it works the pliers.a type of fishing line is the normal string for stiches,that the doctor use.than you for your comment.

Things Ive used my SAK pliers for - removing splinters from hand, removing cactus from my dog, removing a stuck wood chip from my dogs paw, holding nails to be hammered in, cutting small wire, holding broadheads and field points while I glue or wax seal them into arrow shafts, cramping onto matted dog fur to cut safely for myself and my dog, filling percussion caps for muzzleloader, removing fish bones, holding cat fish spines, removing porcupine quills, fixing bird feeder wire and I have used the "vice" technique quite a few times for joining wire without a hobby vise and I have used the vice technique in tying a fishing fly. Honestly when I bought my deluxe tinker I didnt think I would fine many uses for the pliers but I use them more than my heavy duty leatherman Supertool 300s. Great video btw!
