Great video. Tip for keychain carry of these tools: Put a small Ranger band around it to prevent the arms from swinging open unintentionally, which is a thing that can happen to these tools occasionally in the pocket. This tool was in my keychain EDC for a while. Nowadays I use a Squirt plus a double-end bit (Philips/flat) cross-drilled to ride on a split ring. The Ranger band tip can be useful for any small tool on the keychain that tries to come open at unintended times.

These are great little tools, I've got the modern Chinese one and the quality is really good. They make a 6 in 1 utility key tool too and it's fantastic 👍

@Edward Fletcher I am one of those unfortunate souls that have lost a small person fortune to the practice of counterfeiting goods. Not only money, but reputation and trust built over years of hard work was squashed overnight. I lost good customers. Products are not only counterfeit but papers to go with get forged too. It's a terrible thing to do to someone's business. Don't take this the wrong way, it's personal for me, but I wouldn't buy 100x at 2c each from AliExpress.

@@MultitoolsandBlades Ummm that REALLY sucks that you've had that happen. But, these aren't chrome plated junk copies, they're genuine stainless steel factory seconds. I've got an original one here and it's identical in every aspect.

@Hvac Budget Thanks. I have a preference for first production run models and rare items and often trade up when I see a better version of something I already have. I find Etsy is the best place for rare items, but you end up paying more than you wanted. We don't have access to much here in Australia and shipping costs are getting ridiculous 🙄

I wasn’t aware there were US made ones. I have one of the Chinese made ones I carried for years and the rivets got wallowed out and too loose so I stopped carrying it.

I've read that there is not too much different in the Chinese made ones but I will never know.

I purchased this one from eBay. There are always plenty on there at any one time, but I was looking for this specific first production run for several years before one popped up.
