The all of those making negative comments about this video, be grateful someone took the time to make an informative review and posted it on youtube. It may not be big budget production quality but this review more than does the job in my Plantronic Voyager 5200 research. Thanks for posting this review @landiscomputer

There's dozens of 5200 UC reviews in KZitem. None of them cover PC conferencing as direct & relevant as your video. Just bought one your video alone. Kudos...

I bought my first Bluetooth headset around 2005, a Plantronics Voyager 520. It became the only way I'd talk on the phone from that point forward. I didn't realize how awesome it was until I wore it out a couple of years later, and thought maybe there was something better. Tried a Motorola, Jawbone, and others that I didn't keep longer than a day. Ended up finding another 520 and I was in heaven again. Until I wore that one out several years later. Then I got a Voyager 510 with the boom mic. That one was great but it was delicate. The boom broke within a year. Next was the Voyager Pro. That one was great. Went through 2 of those. I find that after a couple of years the batteries start to lose capacity. Just got my second Voyager Legend 5200UC and it is still the best on the market in my opinion. Tried an LG and Samsung months ago, and it wasn't even close. I do have a Plantronics M70 that was given to me which is a very good, inexpensive alternative. My 5200 is awesome even when used in my Jeep with the top down. If you need a Bluetooth for quality conversation clarity, Plantronics or nothing folks. Get one of the ones I mentioned though. PS - if you get a 5200 and you find it uncomfortable, and your inner ear hurts - it's just the earpiece. Change it out. That's why they come with different sized ones. If you tried the different sized ones, and your ear still hurts, then I'm sorry you have deformed ears.

In the beginning stage of using the common rubber buds for earpieces, it always seem to hurt nomatter what size I put. I would always only use it when I needed to and would take it off right away. After several months of usage, I realized it didn't hurt most of the times but only hurt when I had a pimple anywhere around my earlobes. Not in my ears, just my outer earlobes. So it's not necessarily the problem with ear buds. I guess the same could be said if we used plantronics. Waiting for 5200 to arrive next week.

@@ArmadusMalaysia I think you will love the 5200bif you just stay with it. I think one of the main differences is that the ear pieces are completely round, as opposed to the ones that are shaped to fit inside your ear. I could never wear those in the right position for them to not hurt. I suppose there is a little discomfort with any Bluetooth if you aren't use to wearing one but you get used to it. I'm so used to it, I have accidentally jumped in the shower with it on, before I realized I had it on, and had to take it off and throw it out of the shower. I'm wearing it in countless family photos because I forgot I had it on, and the family didn't think to tell me to remove it because they are so used to seeing me with it on. If you got the one that comes without the charging case, it has the charging port open on the bottom. If you are getting the one with the charging case, the charging port on the bottom is still there, but it is covered by a rubber plug, so you can use either. The battery life is great so I often listen to podcasts or radio programs while I'm busy doing stuff. I cannot imagine putting the phone up to my ear anymore. That would feel so weird, lol. Good luck.

YEAH MINE CAME TODAY, bought the 5200 UC with charger ,, YAY.. Best headset i think ever.. noise canceling is amazing.. super noisy environment im in at work,, no issues.. calls are clear.. music is good too but i think i need to experiment with the 3 different sized earpieces to see which one blocks out noise for me best so i can hear the music better in high noise areas.. great buy in my opinion

The Legend sold me on Plantronics... I am on the phone sometimes 12 hours a day. I have a Focus at my desk, 3 Legends and 3 5200s all paired to my phone and laptop at various places (armrest of the cars, laptop bag, at work, gym bag)... They work great. I disable all the sensors but use all the rest with Skype, Skype for Business, cell calls, music, presentations).

The noise canceling was way to aggressive. It would often mute my voice. People who I spoke to will tell me my voice keep muting in and out. Also it was very uncomfortable. I went back to my voyager legend. Couldn't be happier.

Plantronics Voyager 520 U C is a very disappointment for me, it does not live up to expectations. First and foremost try as I may I cannot get it to a full charge don't care how long I left it in the charger. But I blame myself totally for not doing my homework.

Next time you make an instructional video - 1) Prepare a script so that your voice is modulated and 2) Ensure the object is in sharp focus. This was ruined by out of focus shots and stumbling over words as well as some words indistinct. Practice next time!
