Thanks for the review, I did see a few of these on ebay recently new in box for sale and I was thinking about purchasing one but won't bother now. I've also had a few problems getting some items from America recently it's quite frustrating.

Hi Tezza, Glad I could help ☺️ . Tell me, what happened with the Wenger S18 you bought recently? Why didn't you send it back for a refund?

@Multitools and Blades haha I had this feeling that I had purchased the Wenger S18S from you. I had just watched your review of one and i think you said you had picked up a couple brand new. Even though the scissors aren't functioning quite right I decided to keep it in my collection because as you said they are getting harder to come by and it is a really nice pocket knife.

No worries, I'd have swapped it out for another, but you bought my last one. I bought five which came sealed from the Wenger factory. Victorinox still warrant them, but they will replace it with a newer victorinox one instead. Oppenheimer in Silverwater, the old Wenger distributor, is currently having a 50% off sale on the last of their Wengers.

@Multitools and Blades I actually already have the Victorinox version and the Evogrip red and black version so I did want the Wenger S18. I did notice they were having a sale and I made a few sneaky purchases.

I feel like I landed in a shadowzone. I bought one of those, used one. I have been using it every single day for 2 years, I absolutely love it, but it starts to be loose at hinges. No wonder, since it is in use all the time. I started to look around for buying another one, exacly the same and .....I noticed that everyone hates it...wtf universe!? why I didn't get the memo?

@contemporiser don't get me wrong, SOG make a great tool,. It's just these assisted opening knives that are more gimmick than practical. If I was you, try the newer PowerAccess Assist instead.

The weird little cutter is for seat belts. Imagine fiddling with it to get it out when trapped upside down in a burning car 👍😩 The cast philips driver snaps off really easily, ask me how I know 😩

@@MultitoolsandBlades Because it's so identical in shape to other seatbelt cutting tools ? That seems to be the strongest use case for it I think. Perhaps they were thinking of the first responder market ?

I dont even own one of these, but four and a half minutes, not exactly a thorough breakdown review, perhaps you could try putting each of the tools to use on general day to day tasks before sending it back on a whim 👍 cheers

If the quality is such trash that the knives can't even open like a $10 Harbour Freight special then WHY keep it ??
