Hey Peaugh, couple things you missed. :) 1. There's a small tab at the base of his crotch that folds down to help stabilize base mode. You didn't flip that up in robot mode. 2. The claw hand swivels! It has "wrist" articulation, so you can rotate and pose that really well. 3. The yellow chunks on his legs can open up. There is a little bit of detailing inside (and more on the yellow bit), but it's just there to access hollow space. I love mine, but I suspect something is wrong with the ratchets on my claws. One of them clicks hard both up and down, the others are extremely soft. It makes me suspect there is a QC issue. I'm hoping the screw at the front of the claw means it can be disassembled easily.

While I sadly missed out on Titan class Predaking and Devastator, I consider myself lucky for owning the 2000 Brave Maximus as well as his modern counterparts: Titan class Metroplex, Fortress Maximus and Trypticon. I rejoiced when I was only recently able to get my hands on Siege Sixgun, Cog and Brunt (which originally were partnered up with the respective big bots). And now, or more precisely, tomorrow, I will receive Siege Omega Supreme. And even though my wife will not be all too happy about it, I plan on connecting Metroplex, Fortress Maximus, Trypticon, Soundwave, Blaster, Optimus Prime, Sky Shadow, Overlord, Sixshot and Omega Supreme into one giant Cybertronian Megacity. Kind of a homage to the big playsets you could form from the old Micromaster bases. Oh, and btw.... I'm REALLY excited for Earthrise Ironworks, coming next year!

6:12 The black connectors and inner ramps are not compatible with Titans Return bases. Earthrise gives them the name of “A.I.R. Lock” connectors, making those connection points only compatible with those types of connectors. The only compatible connectors for Titans Return bases are on the outermost edge of the curve of each track.

The first time you pull him apart, it is TIGHT. The clips that hold the main tank into the body were super tight on mine, and i was worried about breaking them. That's also why you need to apply a lot of pressure to get them in. Also, the A.I.R. connectors for the tracks took a lot of force to put in / take out the first time. All that to say.. yes, it is very fun.

What were they thinking? The turret doesn’t rotate, no electronics and the track is too small compared to the tank mode. I’ll easily go third-party over this.

It seems his base mode was designed with the whole of the trilogy in mind, seeing as how Earth Rise will have additional ways to extend his base mode. The turret not rotating though, yea I give you that. Not a deal breaker for me, I think he is great with good articulation and a fun gimmick, it definitely helps I only paid a little over $100 for him.

It's a $150 paperweight, just like most of the rest of the Titans. More power to you if you got the space and cash to buy one of these, but it's not for me. I'd consider Devastator or Predaking, because there's so much more to them than the other Titans, but hard pass on the rest. At least Omega is at least reasonably scaled to the other Transformers, as Scorponok will be next year...

I never liked the giant robot figures. The giant figures are just so basic, hollow and surprisingly lackluster given their big and imposing stature. They look ok when fully transformed or in their alt modes but they just have a cheapness to them (much like how the main lines of figures are made today). The thing I love most about Transformers are all the little intricacies and absurdly creative ways each of them transform. I love the puzzle aspect of transforming them and can truly appreciate the work that goes into creating them. The Human Alliance figures are a shining example of how complex and amazing transformer figures can be. Skids and Mudflap were two of the most annoying _characters_ but also two of the absolute _figures_ . The insane attention to detail, quality of design, engineering of the transformation, paint and overall feel and look of them are unmatched (imho). They are still my two favorite figures and neither of them have a single ball joint!!! #fuckballjoints

It's such a blessing to not have stickers after the Combiner Wars trilogy titans. Those were such a pain to apply. There is a lot of "burn damage" effects on the legs and arms, and silvery bits painted up here and there. The back was never shown either, and there's a lot of red detailing back there. I could definitely see stickers or panel lining bringing out the detail more though!
