Lovely, warm sound. This is my go-to software piano for when I'm away from my hardware sound modules, as it is very compatible dynamics and feel-wise to the couple of hardware sounds I use most often.

Wow, what hardware do you use? I've never heard a box that matches the piano samples that are out there.

@@Lance_Wing Not OP, but my guess is Nord. Or maybe one of the big workstations.

@@Lance_Wing YMMV, but I absolutely love the so-called "SuperNatural" Piano sounds from my Roland Integra 7, and most of the pianos from my Motif Rack XS. I find the Roland sounds more realistic and satisfying (to me) than most of the cheap software sample libs (or modeled sounds). Note that the emphasis is on "cheap", which the Vienna 170 definitely is; maybe the more expensive sample libraries are better (and often have many more parameters to adjust), but I just wanted something to work for me when I'm away from my hardware. Also, I have been auditioning the new Yamaha Montage M8x, and the piano sounds it has are, to my ears, better than most of the samples out there (for my taste), regardless of price. Of course, as I said, your experience might be completely different. I just thinks the Vienna 170 sounds very good, to me.

I researched a zilliioin places before saying it, and the overwhelming consensus said Boozendorfer was the correct way to say it. I regret not just calling it Bozendorfer.
