Great job on the video, guys. I travel via moto a lot and often do trip reports on ADV, but never make videos because they are usually pretty lame. Yours is a nice exception!

Great video, thank you. We're looking to tour the North this October on a xr150, it looks more than capable 2 up, I guess it had enough power to get up the hills without a struggle?

Hello, that was one great adventure of a lifetime. Best shared with your loved one. Btw, I'm really interested with this bike honda xr 150. How good was it for your long travel? Can you share some pros and cons about it? Thanks and take care!

Hi there It was the perfect bike for this trip : + lightweight + easy to handle in all kind of situation + strong off-road abilities but capable of "high" speed as well + reliable + easy to and cheap to maintain + lots of spare parts + big tank and low fuel consumption (500km max with one full tank) Cons : - a bit limited in off-road with 2 people + luggage - center of gravity a bit high with this kind of artesanal luggage mount

Thanks for your map link. I’m doing a very similar Hanoi-HaLong Bay loop myself but even longer (down to Ninh Binh, along to Dien Bien Phu then to Sapa before Ha Giang) Did you pass by Ban Gioc Falls completely in Cao Bang? You must’ve only been 50km away!

I bought it, because I didn't want to have constraints, and because the full trip last 5 months I got to cross some borders. Actually I just arrived in Laos from Cambodia.
