That's all the crap my dad carried when he was in Nam in 1965 to 1968. He brought some of his stuff back. So did I 1987-1991 we used 1968 Nam nylon and Velcro crap! E-tool not shovel! Mess kit not lunch kit. Jungle boots or climbing boots. You do know not all that gear was carried in combat right half your crap stayed back at the fire base or back at Battalion.

Nice video! How did you go about weathering your boots? I've kinda dinged up/given my repros a bit of a scuff with sandpaper and used pigment powders to make them look dusty but they don't look quite right yet.

Never seen a ww2 poncho however the earlier versions of the poncho liner were completely od green, or camouflaged the same as the ww2 parachute camo

They were used in Vietnam. The P64 replaced it but grunts still got issued older stuff, especially Marines as far as i know.
