It’s very easy to conflate “facts” to suit a particular narrative. “Oil rich” is one in that most of the oil is still to be extracted.

Whether they like it or not, PPP needs to up their game. For example - the Ministers need to appear on the prime time podcasts to tell about their wonderful accomplishments.

I agree, the PPP have to promote their accomplishments in a way for aa the Guyanese to see. I don't believe that the people understand what the Government is trying to accomplish.

Too many big words! If you cannot make your argument with words that the common man can understand, then you wasting your time. Anyway, the government of Guyana can use over 30 billion dollars of taxpayer money to bail out Guysuco and they can also find money to build a bridge from Guyana to Suriname. But they have a problem with paying the Guyanese teachers a fair wage and salary.

@@josephwinslow7613 it’s not about paying teachers, it’s about getting money for prior years when nothing was done. These so called teachers sat on their asses through the pandemic and now want raises for doing nothing.

Can you sustain a higher increase and that level of salary across the board, not only teachers ,when the oil money runs out? The government have to be able to project income and expenses long-term so that they can sustainability. I think you need to think things through before you talk, Mr Winslow
