Chetdino (Chotdin, Cheddin) is a village on the left bank of the Lokchim river, a tributary of the Vychegda River, below the mouth of the Ched river (Chedyu), (Chednberry, southeast river, Komi). It was founded in the middle of the eighteenth century. Among the first inhabitants of the villages along r. Lokchim were immigrants from Sysola and from the Upper Vychegodsk villages. On Lokchim
a peculiar group of Upper Vychegodsky Komi - Lokchimtsi (Lokchimsa) formed. According to the 2010 census, 88 people lived in the village.
