Notes From The Red Summer 1919 Instrumental Opera Release:
Epilogue - The Wise Diviner Speaks
"In the tableau of our observations, the enduring reverberations of anguish, resentment, and discontent among our compatriots have not escaped our discerning gaze. The convulsions that rent the fabric of the Red Summer of 1919 stand as a resounding clarion, echoing the imperatives of justice and parity, beseeching an end to the entrenched maladies of systemic racism and oppression.
Yet, as we tread the path toward an augmented destiny, let us not overlook the perpetual nature of this odyssey. It is an odyssey that mandates the harmonization of voices, the profound comprehension of diverse narratives-whether they be of ebony or ivory hue-and the united endeavor to erect a society characterized by its unwavering commitment to equity and impartiality.
Be mindful, however, that the lives sundered and the scars indelibly etched upon the collective psyche by the tumultuous events of those days shall never mend unless we address the very origins of the tumult. Thus, we must identify and rectify the root causes that ignited the flames of violence and discord.
Furthermore, let us engrave upon our memory the unassailable verity that the quest for parity before the law is an enterprise ceaseless in its urgency. A shared exertion, marked by an inexhaustible perseverance, is requisite. We stand united against the temptation of capitulation to despondency, persistently dedicated instead to pursuing what is just and moral.
And so, let us solemnly avow to etch the annals of yesteryears indelibly into our collective consciousness, kindling a commitment to forge a future luminous with promise. It is a promise that shall embrace all, casting aside the shroud of bias to bestow impartial justice and eradicating the specter of prejudice to grant an untrammeled avenue to opportunity."
