Fleur, thank you so much for sharing a bit of your secret life as a child. Playing with your dolls house and making up stories to entertain yourself as a child, must have been great fun. Your dolls house holds precious memories of times and people gone by, but which are still fresh in your mind eye. A magic all of its own. You hope we like your dolls house, have no fear....we love it. Well all the comments I've read say they do. Xx

I'm convinced people were more creative back when this dollhouse was created because their brains weren't diluted with all the technology thinking for us. The fact that 2 buttons were used to create a vase, flower holder shows the heart people put into creating things for their children.

What an amazing dollhouse! I have always loved miniature things and it amazes me how you have decorated your houses. I had one when I was 8 or 9. It was made of tin or some other metal, and it was painted. As I remember (this was 60 years ago), the roof lifted off. My evil younger brothers (I had 4) totally destroyed my dollhouse and it was never replaced. Many years later, my 10 year old daughter asked for a dollhouse. I bought one of those "put it together yourself kits" and the husband of my best friend constructed it, painted it, and even installed "electric" lights. It was a big Victorian house. My daughter loved it. Then, a year or so later, our house burned down along with her dollhouse. But no one was injured so we moved on. Please keep sharing your love of tiny things - and your wonderful adventures - with us! ❤️❤️❤️

How could you be worried about showing your dollshouse when it's so very beautiful! I guess it is like revealing the things you love and cherish to the world for all to judge.I love the different scales and the fact damaged things like the dolls with no limbs etc play a part in the house and give it such character. My favourite room to do is always a nursery or child's room as you can use so many tiny things as toys and I love to have lots of children playing and having fun.Just loving all your videos.

I completely agree-doll houses are most definitely a reflection of yourself! I don’t understand how people can glue things down in a doll house and call it finished. Like gardens, doll houses are ever evolving. In my doll house, the only room I set up with absolute satisfaction was the kitchen, and it was indeed so easy. The other rooms never were right. You have a marvelous house full of treasures! I particularly like your tiny framed picture. And don’t feel badly, my doll house has several mice, 2 cats, and at least 6 dogs in it. I want to get fish next. You can never have too many miniature pets. Thank you for sharing!

MAGIC thats the only word for your dolls house Fleur, I love it. I had those plants in pots for my dolls house back in the 50's. The metal cat in the basket was bought for me by my dad and it had tiny kittens and somewhere I still have it but goodness knows where. I hope you recieved my parcel and letter? Please let me know if you got the especially the letter. Thank you. My father made my first dolls house and it was a replica of the bungalow we lived in. I still have a little glass dish of fruit that came from that house. Lots of love and wishes for some more good finds.

Hello! For the unboxing items, the questionable blue stand could be the base for a table… but i think it would make for a cute bird bath! And the gold scrolly bit, looks like it could be an exterior architectural decoration for a gable. The small bag, could be the bag for the balls in the nursery 🤷♀️ and the wool scrap, could be used for a chair cushion! Ah! I feel like im there with you, getting hit with the mini ideas! You got some nice new pieces in your tiny box,it had a lot more in than you would think too..I loved the tour of the dolls house . It’s lovely to see all the small miniatures you brought as a young girl. I never had a dolls house, but always wanted one .I absolutely love seeing all the miniature pieces of furniture, and accessories that you can get for them.I used to go and look at them when Dad took the boys to see the Trains.. it costs a fortune to decorate the inside of a dolls house too.I love how you have brought things as well as made things in yours. It just makes it look more personal and special. I am looking forward to when you start working on the new house too.But what I think is so special is that you spend so much quality time with your daughter, and you make memories together every day.I lost my Mum 25 yrs agoI was in my early forties and I miss her still so much ,and those memories you make are so precious then. That’s one of the reasons I love your Chanel ,it makes me smile ..Love n Light 🥰

And the tiny bone dog is so cute too it reminds me of the HMV dog . I've never had a dolls house but who knows now I'm tapping on, maybe I could look out for a nice vintage dolls house and start collecting bits for it, a retirement project. I make dolls houses and dioramas by hand and I make all the furnishings and accessories too. I never pay attention to scale. I just make what 'looks right' to me. I call it Imagination Scale. And I often make houses for mice families. Have you ever noticed that if a mouse stood up, it would have a very long torso and a very low waist, and really short legs. They need their own scale! But this is a collectors house. Its wonderful because you've hunted for every piece over a long period of time. I don't think scale matters here. Its charming

When I was a very young teen, I used to make dollhouses out of old cardboard boxes which were wallpapered with gift wrap then filled with odd bits and bobs of whatever I was able to scavenge and cobble together from scraps found around the house. I had so much fun playing with it and viewing your Lovely Old Doll's house, is like a trip for me down memory lane. Everything in each room holds a special place in your hearts because they have a history and a story to tell. I think it's Absolutely Charming and filled with LOVE and good memories of people, places and things so THANK YOU for sharing it with us. And little bone dog reminds me of the RCA Victor dog which "hears his master's voice" playing on a gramophone.

Oh, I used to that, too! Tables made from canister tops, and lamps using toothpaste lids, buttons and toothpicks…I would stick pictures of furniture cut from catalogues onto the walls of the boxes, because I knew I could never obtain anything so posh and a picture was better than nothing! I raided my mum’s scrap box for bits of material for curtains, with toothpicks and beads for curtain poles. I used her Aida and bits of fringe or lace for rugs, coloured with felt-tips. Looking back, I can’t think where I found the imagination! Such fond memories. I still love doll’s houses, even though I don’t have one myself…I think I feel a retirement hobby coming on!
