I love vintage style assemblage and cagework beading in the Haskell style using filigree and brass stampings. In so many ways it is no different than any other assemblage project. You don't need a lot of beading skills (although those who do have beading skills will just be better at this!) and you don't need a lot of wireworking skills, either. I am neither a beader or a wireworker. But I am an assemblage artist who LOVES the soul of the vintage aesthetic, especially the Haskell, Hagler and older Robert pieces. I love vintage jewelry and vintage jewelry made this way. I'm always looking at the old vintage books for inspiration! That's why I worked hard to get this finish done as an exclusive to B'sue Boutiques, to come as close to the old Russian gold plated finish as I could, to preserve its rich look. Most of what I have learned has been trial and error and I am still learning all the time. Happy to share some of what I have found out, with you! We carry all the supplies you could want for this work at www.bsueboutiqu... #BSue_Boutiques
