@@Loofy101 considering the FO universe is essentially an alternate timeline of our world, I'd wager there was a Hawai'i before the bombs dropped. Being cut off from the rest of the world I imagine they would have had a severe population drop off even if no bombs hit the islands. Or worse, some unknown Big MT experiment released into the Pacific Ocean killed them all 😅

Pro tip: If you also want waves/birds chirping etc, you can open another tab with youtube, locate your favourite for that, and play both ambiences at the same time. This enables you to set the volume for "wave sounds" and background noices at your leisure. This is my go-to solution!

My mom, originally from West Virginia, ended up living in Kona on the big island for over 20 years before having to return to the mainland around 2017/2018. She always dreamed of being able to get back to Hawaii and felt it's where she truly belonged. Unfortunately, she passed away this last December at the age of 76. Listening to these songs makes me think of her, and the fond memories I have of visiting her out there. I'd like to get out there again myself someday and bring some of her ashes with me, in accordance with any regulations of course.. Thank you for this mellow Sunday morning, chilling with the spirit of my mother and our memories to this beautiful soundtrack. Bless your soul mom, I really miss you. May you RIP. 🙏

Hey. Professional concept artist and illustrator here. The musics are cool. I actually clicked on the playlist because I was curious about the illustrations you used. And of course it's AI. In case you dont know yet, the images you get by making generated images are made out of thousands of people's stolen work. AI is killing the art industry. It's violating artists' rights by stealing their pieces of art without consent and puting them in a database. It's making us invisible, it's taking away the life and the value of Art. I can't believe we came to the point that nowadays, I, as well as incredibly talented artists who put their life into their craft, are terrified to even share our work on social medias because of people using AI and not caring at all about our integrity. We have to create new platforms just to be safe, because even big compagnies (like Instagram, Adobe...) are spitting at our faces. We are losing our jobs so people can enjoy ""creating"" images. This is dystopian for people who, just like me, are trying to share their creativity and passion, who try to bring something new and convey emotions, as it has been done for hundreds of years in humanity. In less than 5 minutes I could find real artists making this kind of art, like Paul George Lawler, Rick Sharp or Kerne Erickson. I hope you will understand our concern. But I just saw that you're selling goodies with AI generated art on etsy, so it most likely won't be the case. I'll hope for it anyways. Cheers.
@garritygal

Out of the 95 products I have on Etsy, one item is AI. When I was a kid I took art lessons for 8 years at the Detroit Institute of Art and at the beginning of the class we took tours to get to know the artists and then we came back to the Studio to make our own version of Van Gogh or Monet. In 1996 I took my first photoshop classes in college while listening to old school graphic design artists complain about computer art. I am not monetized, nor while I ever be, I do this as a hobby. I can't afford to pay someone to do the Art for me so I use AI. I like to have a variety of images to look at while the video plays. So, you say this takes away from real artists and name a few but I wouldn't use any artist cause I do this for free. I am not a good artist and if I were it would take weeks for me to make enough illustrations to use on my videos. I am 69 years old and this is my little hobby. Thanks.

Wasn't aware of this, thank you for putting it out there. This isn't the place for it tho as you can see from the comment. Get it out somewhere where it can be seen. I'll bring it into my conversations as well. It's a shame the internet is used so unscrupulously but the modern world isn't what it used to be and never is. We've already lost so much more than we know. People think they are so smart but we all losing for the greed of a few. Children are praised for their new values but they the values they been given and are falling for it worse than we did.
