Ahh.. it’s reminded me my childhood days..I like two things in Mani sir’s videos.. ALCO’s chugging and track sound of ICF coaches.. what a beautiful experience for the kids of 80’s… I am a big fan of these ICF coaches track sounds and ALCO engines chugging..

A very interesting fact , most of Us(RailFans) prefer side lower births .Nice compilation .Now the coaches have sounds of Galloping .Every generation of equipments have their own characteristics . Great recording Sir .

This video reminded me of when I used to do night journeys on the Ernakulam-Karaikal Express between Ernakulam and Tiruchirapalli in 2013. The difference being that it was usually hauled by a WDM3A or WDM3D instead of a WAP4. Thanks for sharing.

@@ManiVijay No, I studied at a college in Trichy and there were only two trains connecting my hometown to Trichy and both were night-runners. The track sounds, station announcements and the calls of tea and snack vendors were blissful experiences. It's sad that these ICF coaches are being taken out of service.

@@ManiVijay I know Mani sir you kept hearing these mesmerising musical sounds for the whole night, these can keep any RF awake for the whole night and time passes away instantly. I remember my childhood days when I used to travel and get up in the late night when everyone else were sleeping and i will keep awake for hours together watching the beautiful blue night lamps of the coach and keep hearing the musical track sounds and the sounds of the vestibule walk way of our coach and the next one colliding with each other. Those were golden days sir.

My father was in Railway and it was easy for me to travel in AC coaches, but in my childhood I still used to prefer travelling in sleeper coaches because it gave nostalgic feeling.😄

Conventional Honking with ICF Short welded track sounds is the stuff of my childhood... it can make me do wonderful amount of work without feeling tired and make me go to sleep just by listening to it... do gym... anything... WAP-7 with LHB sounds don't have such potential to them...

@@ManiVijay sir also if you noticed, the loco had a perfect combination of one old and one new horn... aka HT like Old Conventional locos and/or WAM4/WAP-1/WAP-4 222 and 223 kind of horn and the LT was more like a 227 2228 (which the loco is) and 229 and 25... aka the Air horn

Short velded tracks, ICF Track Sounds and old Conventional loco Honking... Travel on IR at it's best... No 3 Phaser, no LHB can replace this! Never...! I mean if I had the chance to do something about it... I'd make them disappear from existence...

Mani sir! Did you notice the year of manufacture of these coaches...I suppose these coaches were manufacturred before 2005....Because in the.coaches manufactured in late 2015 never had these kind of beats
