I remember him well. I hope the new generations take the time to watch this guy at his best. While playing in an era of great and dominant big-men, he was a 5-10 dynamo. Incredible player.

I remember when Tiny was playing for DeWit Clinton High and he lit my Evander Tigers up with 44 points and we were up by five at halftime. Thanks a lot Tiny! From a Bronx kid that admired your great game!

That video of the Celtics and Sixers....look at how many Hall-of-Famers were on that court! Tiny, Bird, McHale, The Chief, Cheeks, Bobby Jones. Tiny was great. 'Nuff said.

Tiny Archibald was perfect fit to the Boston Celtics in the 1981 championship even though some people thought his career was over, but Red Auerbach gave Nate a chance and he was able to play around great players who were also hall famers such as Larry bird, Kevin McHale and Robert Parish (The big 3)...It capped off one of the greatest moments for tiny Archibald to be part of a championship team

I remember Tiny embarassing the big Men trying to block his shot when he was going to the hole. Multiple moves that made teams and opposing players look silly.

Don’t understand: Tiny was a scorer, too. He essentially carried the Kings when he first came in. He was amazing! I saw lots of him Sundays on CBS when he was in his prime-another one of my all-time favs💥

For young folks who dont know Nate ( The Skate ) Archibald you need to check up on him. HE WAS NICE! He was a small guard but was never afraid to penetrate and had so many shake moves it would make your head swivel. I mean he was nice. He could shake and bake like no other.

I saw him play with the Royals against the Lakers. He just ignored the Laker guards, passed right by them and went 1 on 1 against Wilt. Fearless. 35 pt. 10 assist average.

I know Tiny grew up in the Bronx, but with Bob Cousy mentoring him, then later teaming with Larry Bird and winning a championship, it's like he should have been a Celtic from the get. I was a young kid when Tiny got his ring, but I was as happy for him as any other player. He deserved it. Class act, humble, and EASILY one of the greatest PGs in NBA history.

I was a junior in HS in Omaha the year he led the league in scoring and assists. My school was 2 blocks from the Civic Auditorium in downtown Omaha and I saw about 15 games that year. Unfortunately there is not much video of him from that year. He was absolutely incredible. They had a decent team with Sam Lacey, Tom Van Arsdale, Johnny Green, Don Kojis... but the league was so deep, they didn't make the playoffs. Tiny did what he wanted, was unstoppable and if there had been a 3 point line, he would have avged 40. His left hand jumper from 25ft was like a layup.

Philly really choked ! They couldn’t even inbound a pass at the end of the game , then the simple lay up at the end! The warriors would have eaten these teams alive back then! These guys struggled with simple shots inside the paint! The warriors could have shoot from half court the whole game and beat these clowns!

The Warriors wouldn't be able to get the ball past half court without committing a palming violation.
