This Vinyasa Yoga Flow Twist Sequence is the perfect way to end your work day! Twists are a wonderful way to help open your chest, shoulders, back, nourish your spine which is not only great to help open your body after a day spent sitting at your desk, but it also can help decrease feelings of stress and anxiety. I invite you to couple our vinyasa flow twists with slow, rhythmic breathing. These two combined can help release stored tension in your body and induce a meditative state of mind leaving you feeling balanced, in body, mind and spirit.
Since this practice is a vinyasa flow I will be doing less cuing than my typical yoga classes.
I do not use any props in our yoga practice today, but make sure you have them nearby just in case.
Let’s twist it out!
