A woman who only showed up for a few minutes in "Doubt" and completely OWNED a scene that MERYL STREEP was in. Only a few people alive can do that. Viola Davis? She crushed it. 100% deserved that Oscar, she was robbed

I know you mean it as a praise and it was a great show of her talent at that time but right now Viola is so much bigger than just that association. She should be described as the most nominated african american actress at the oscars. The first african american actress to win emmy in a lead role. The only african american actress to win the triple crown of the acting. She's now so much more than that one association with Meryl Streep which landed her her first oscar nom

@Muhammad Ahmed OH. No, I did not mean it that way at all. She's incredible. That movie was my first exposure to Viola Davis and I've been an adoring fan ever since. I'd compare her scene in Doubt to Alec Baldwin's scene in Glengarry Glenn Ross, it was so powerful. Something that just defines the rest of the movie.

Viola is terrific, so great and talented. Cate Blanchett is of course one of the greatest actors ever. But in the terms of beautiful, funny and down to earth I think different. She looks so unnatural due to all the stuff she had done. She overdraws every time and is very fake in speeches or interviews.
@bellabana
Жыл бұрын
@@Marc-13 you couldn’t be more incorrect as Cate Blanchett is one of the few actresses that hasn’t had plastic surgery, she’s always been naturally beautiful and she still is but just older, she’s aging gracefully. Plus you obviously don’t know much about Cate as she has a typical sarcastic Aussie sense of humour, she’s very witty. Just watch any interviews with her and Sandra Bullock or Melissa McCarthy as she’s hilarious. And Cate’s famous for being down to earth despite her incredible talent, she doesn’t take herself too seriously at all.

@@bellabana What make you sure about that she hadn't plastic surgery? I see a complete different looking nose since 2018. It is way shorter, smaller and looks different. As well she uses botox.
