Holy shit dude! This bike is stunning! Totally modern looking yet still looks like a Virago. Yamaha needs to hire you to redesign a Virago so they can bring it back. V-Stars are shit IMO.

Very best bike I have ever owned and wish I still had was my 1990 1100 Virago. I had some forward controls made for it and it was perfect. {a few other cosmetic things of course}. You are an amazing artist, thanks for sharing.

Wow! Heel heel heel knap gedaan. Alsof ie zo uit de fabriek komt. Grappig dat dit nu pas in mijn overzicht naar voren komt. Typisch youtube. Enige dat ik me afvroeg is hoe je de achterbrug opnieuw hebt gemaakt. Heb je dit zelf gelast? Persoonlijk vind ik frame aanpassingen griezelig. Zou me altijd afvragen of het stevig genoeg is om iemand achterop mee te laten rijden (maar ik heb geen verstand van lassen en sterkte). Ben benieuwd of je een volgend project in gedachten hebt.

Haha dankjewel, ja heb dit zelf gelast. In eerste instantie wilde ik het zelf niet wagen maar had me zelf overtuigd dat ik het iniedergeval wil proberen. Dus had een cursus lassen gevolgd en in dat proces de achterbrug gedaan. Uiteraard heb ik een ander project in gedachten, echter wil ik daarvoor de ruimte hebben. Momenteel ben ik wel bezig met een tweede viragoblok aan het restaureren. Puur omdat het te leuk is om ermee bezig te zijn:)

the clock I bought from Aliexpress. I then used the electronics from it in combination with 3d printed parts to make the final clock assembly

@@jjbuildman zit momenteel in een verhuizing. zal spoedig nagaan waar ik de draadschema heb gelaten. In principe is het gebaseerd op de barebone wire diagram op viragotech.com mocht je iets snel nodig hebben :)

i also made a lot of changes to a 1995 vn 800. made my own seat in very similar fashion . you did much better on finish of upholstery. but it is so comfortable now.

Hey otzie je bobber is echt dik geworden man ! Hoeveel cc is die van jou ? En hoe rijd ie op de snelweg met touren ? Genoeg power ook ? Ik rij zelf een suzuki gsxr 600 maar ben laatste tijden echt aan het kijken naar bobbers voor een eigen Future project.

Tnx! het is een 700cc. als je meer snelweg wilt gaan rijden dan is een 920/1000/1100 een beter plan. Het tourgebied ligt iets lager wat het iets aangenamer maakt tijdens het rijden. Qua power zijn ze allemaal gelijk rond de 60 pk. Wil je op een chopper veel snelweg rijden dan zou ik toch naar iets anders kijken rond de 1100 of 1400 cc of met een windscherm. Maar goed dan spreek ik over comfort. Als je voor een projectbike gaat is dat meestal het laatste waar je naar zal kijken;) Ik zou dan je gsxr behouden als je comfortbike. Doe ik ook met fjr1300 en bandit 650. Daarnaast kan je genieten van je project.

Thnx mate! It's a harley ( sportster I think) bare custom rear fender, i cant seem to find the supplier of the side mount because the company doesn't exist anymore. I bought it from ebay and the build was made for the virago. You could try looking around while trying search terms on ebay;) good luck!

Unusual model 1985 XV750 SE ? first generation engine ( old style starter )carbs and ignition in twin shock chassis . Next model had different carbs and starter . very nice project bike , looks amazing , a lot of hard work .

Jep its a xv700. They were built along with the xv1000 model. In 1984 and 1985. The xv1000 had the new starter style but the 700 kept the gen 1 system. The gen 2 starter style engine was changed in 1986 on the xv700.

@@pathfinder112 thnx mate;) i don't have the plans for it just did it on the go and made it from scratch. But the schoks are 290 I think. And it also depend on how high you mount the rear fender. The height is equivalent to the height of a Honda rebel
