It’s a specialty nasi bungkus style from Tegal, Central Java, Indonesia. The telur cooked in spices is always a must in nasi bogana 👌🏻

Really cool they wrap it in banana leaves. Gotta have it with the Rice for sure. MSG was something my mom would just pour onto the our food - the good old days. I want some of those deserts for sure. Love these type of deserts. Thanks for sharing guys.

The egg is similar to Japanese egg you find in ramen, the difference is this one using Indonesian spices and it's more towards sweet flavour because the use of sweet soya sauce as opposed to the salty soy sauce.

Haha Nasi bogana is a specialty mixed rice from Tegal, Jawa Tengah. Ah maybe one day there will be Indonesian restaurant serving nasi bungkus in Sydney. If not come to Melbourne and we’ll take you to this restaurant 👌🏻😃

i think 2 meat and 2 veggies is a reasonable price for Indonesian food abroad. if you eat in Singapore, you can get it in the similar price, but i there are no nasi bungkus, only nasi padang around here

Something tells us the beef rendang is going to be a good bit better here than the one we tried in Istanbul! ;) $16 AUD for 2 meats and 2 vegetables and all wrapped in banana leaf? Love that presentation and price!

Hehe disini banyak juga sih yg $14.5 udah dapet banyak lauk, tergantung restonya aja. Yg Garam Merica ini biar $16 porsinya banyak bgt dan rasanya ga diragukan lagi, makanya harganya lumayan premium. Yup disini juga sekitar segitu, kita sering beli deket rumah ada resto indo 2 meat + 1 sayur cuma $12 😉

Love the food package, especially if it's wrapped with banana leaves! Always taste better eating with hands! Rendang daging and gulai, omg all the sauces soaked in the rice already, looks soooo yummy, salivating!!! I might ask for more sambal!

Petai is like a hidden gem haha! Love petai! Beef floss, shredded chicken, Ony's reaction says it all how good NAsi Bogana it is! Extremely addictive, I would love to check out this place, or when I go to Indonesia, putting in my to-eat list! Es Doger sounds amazing, black glutinous rice, with tapai jackfruit, yums!! Ahhh cendol Durian! Haha yes I remember how you and Ony have different opinion on the type of cendol :P
