Great to hear an actual interview with Coach Bennett. He's humble and measured in championship form. Congratulations to him and his family on winning a championship for the DMV!

I agree. This was a great interview. Truth be told I'm really not much into many coach or athlete interviews, but this was excellent.

Tony Bennett has nothing left to prove. Tony has built this program, it's amazing.

@High Priest of the Flying Spaghetti Monster UCLA won close to nothing since the 70's and they still think they can take out some builders like Tony Bennett and Jay Wright

@@otaviofrn_adv Bennett has never recruited a one and done. If you play for TB, you’re staying for more than one season, and you’re going to class. How can he bring that philosophy to UCLA🤦♂️

@@fastkarr8256 true. But I'd say UCLA signed a good one too in Mick Cronin to replace Alford. Final four last season, Sweet sixteen so far on this, without a team of one and done players

Took my son to their basketball camp last summer....a real class act of a coach and the entire program. What a story!

The number of sports people that are both successful and a role model is short indeed. Tony Bennett and the UVa basketball team are such examples.

Tony Bennett said things about faith and even thanked his "Lord and Savior." But there's a lot that shows he's the real thing. Look at the earnestness in his players' eyes. Bennett's not BS. Bennett has done so much to turn around stereotype Va. bingedrinking frat boy

Andrew Baroch he has changed the fabric of our program in the way he coaches, mentors, recruits, and teaches. The young men that leave his program are forever impacted by his influence

Once again a team with a 3pt lead in the closing seconds refuses to foul with a hard steal attempt and put their opponent at the FT line where the most they can score is 2. Then Texas Tech compounds their error by collapsing their defense on a 2pt layup attempt, leaving the game's leading scorer wide open for the game-tying trey. How many games have to be lost this way before stubborn coaches change their strategy?

Be honest. If you've watched basketball throughout the 3-pt shot era, you know that the Purdue scenario happens about one-tenth as often as the Texas Tech outcome.@@kc8262
