Learned this in middle school, most awkward days of my life holding a boy's sweaty hands.

Working a mid 1800's US military site, we had a period actor come out and hold a dance for the field school. This dance was the so much fun to do.

What a nice tune! It would have been nice to live in the 1700's/1800's I'll bet.

Is this the abe lincoln in Springfield Illinois? Looks like the entrance for the mary todd dress exhibit in the back. This virginia boy might have had to show you the reel for real if i was there lol. When i did southern civil war reenacting i the late 80s early 90s we would have dances after all the spectators left. Some of the funnest parties of my young life.

It's pretty lively; not sure what you mean about it being slow, but most people who aren't athletes wouldn't be able to move any faster than this!

Everyone should be an athlete. No excuses. Handicapped oK, but every whole person should be an athlete first, and their job second. They'r not doin too badly for their ages.
