Edi, a boy with VIRTUAL AUTISM.
In the early years of life, Edi had watched on average over 5 hours / day of virtual environment (especially TV and computer).
At the first evaluation it was 1 year and 8 months.
The evaluation lasted about 2 hours.
An hour and a half of this time, Edi showed behavior
stereotype, he turned a pen between his fingers.
Throughout the evaluation I was unable to establish visual contact, even if I came close to the child and called him by name.
Edi did not understand language, did not socialize, did not have any functional play.
As it appears in the longitudinal evaluation, after only eight sessions of two hours of therapy and one month after the virtual elimination of the virtual environment, Edi is making significant progress.
Intensive therapy applied to Edi lasted only 4 months, at a frequency of 2 hours / day, 4-5 days / week.
After this period, it continued with a maintenance program (several hours per week) until the integration into the kindergarten.
At the first evaluation, Edi recorded a development coefficient QD = 55, and after only two months it recorded a QD = 98.
