Yea I heard it was pretty Irish before I arrived, but quite cosmopolitan during my stay 99 to 13, and currently so as well.

I was there from 1998 to 2020.....Not many Irish these days in Kilburn but African are everywhere.....London will be Africa in the near future like Paris & Roma.... Thanks God, i am back home and now live in France in deep countryside.......Poor British people, God bless.....

Sure was. I moved there in 1987...so some time after you and it was still very Irish. Two Irish pubs, Irish and West Indian neighbours. All gone now. Too expensive.

Lived in south kilburn in the 70s william saville then fielding house, then hang around tennyson road priory park willesden lane myers cab and mr airies 24 hr shop memories kilburn my manor.

I was born in kilburn in the 60s, lived on thd Tollgate gardens estate. Wonderful memories but wow! Kilburn has a lot of changes.

I lived in Queens Park from 1989 to 2011. I’ve seen it change a lot. Love that place. Chicken man is a legend!

Fammm I havent been there in soo long! I remember the chinese bruddas used to post up on the high road with their DVDs on the floor and when police would drive by they would pack up and run 🤣. Its mad to see that a lot of the same things are still there over 13 years later. Kilburn was rough back in the day man, first time I witnessed a shooting right beside me and stabbing

I grew up in Trinidad, moved to England in 1999, and left in 2013. Worked a while in Queens Park, did most of my shopping in the Kilburn area..

@@triniexplorer6176 Hi, thanks for your reply . what was that like growing up in Trinidad ? l worked in much of London plastering work painting Decorating years -ago, lived with my gran in Watford, have a lot of good memories from that time, its a crying shame whats going on now things are changing way to fast and in all the wrong ways .
