Hey Lindsey, We loved that you celebrated your dad’s dinner 😂😂😂 love that opening. Wish you would’ve let the joke run for a little bit more 😂 or was it more spicy than the food? 💚💙💚💙 @theJallOzFamily

So neat and this video came at the perfect time. I had a phone interview for a job in Nashville this week and I think it went well. There were some differences regarding the salary amount which leads me to this question. What do you consider to be a reasonable salary to live on as a single income individual in Nashville? Safety is a priority for me, but I also do not expect to live like a king either.

Hmm good question, I have pretty much always lived at home, but I know apartments can be expensive and usually 3X the income. I’d say average places are around $1800-2000 close to Nashville, so X 3 and you’re looking at at least $6000 a month. So I’d say to living comfortably probably $70-80K if you are ok with living further out and commuting, rent is cheaper in Murfreesboro. I mean there will also be cheaper places, but I’d say bare minimum you’d want at least $55,000. If I were moving out on my own, I’d prob live around green hills/Hillsboro village area, or gulch, easiest to meet people. Hope that helps!

@@LindseyDara That was definitely helpful. I did end up getting the job and I believe you were spot on with the rent prices. I ended up accepting the position after renegotiating my offer a few times, and found the perfect newly constructed apartment in Cane Ridge for under $1,300. I thought I'd hit the jackpot because it's in the perfect location and is less than 20 minutes away from my job. But then, they e-mailed me informing me of some major supply chain issues which meant that there would be a major delay in my move in date. They recommended that all impacted residents apply to their other property that is being built, but the rent is 4 to $500 more expensive each month. I reached out to them to discuss adjusting my rent rate and we have an interview scheduled tomorrow to discuss it. Please keep me in your prayers and may God continue to bless you.

Oh ok, I admit Antioch can be a bit sketchy. I don’t recommend it for single women. Though, Depends on the area. Check out this area District at seven springs Brentwood www.zillow.com/apartments/brentwood-tn/district-at-seven-springs/5g3Qd7/? Or Brentwood Oaks or anywhere Brentwood around old hickory Blvd is good. MAA Brentwood. Rates look around 1350-1400 but the area is much safer than antioch. Brentwood is one of the most affluent areas, green hills, Belmont area etc. but I don’t know where your school is. I saw Lenox creek side had places at around 1,200 (near nolensville which is nice area too). Anyway, hope this helps!
