When eating rambutan, just bite its meat from the seed. The meat is easy to bite from the seed because it separates once you bite the meat. The meat doesn't stick much from the seed. Just hold the seed and bite the meat

I’m glad you love staying in our country, the Philippines! Samal island is a beautiful and peaceful place. Lots of fruit bearing plants. Different fruits in the Philippines that, some of them are not found anywhere except the Philippines.

Alex and Ksenia, you are both so kind and generous to bring lots of delicious fruits to Jelena and family. Chico is one of the best fruits (in the Latino market in my area, it’s called sapote). Have you tried mangoes from Guimaras island, which I heard are the best kind? Those coconut sprouts that you call bua look like they would be good for salad, and maybe incorporate them also in desserts. You all are blessed that you can just go out for a walk and can easily find edible fruits/plants/vegetables. Take care and God bless.🥰

You should also try these fruits: lomboy, tambis, and iba with a salt. Foreign KZitemrs never feature this fruit because no one have introduced them. Ask locals they are familiar with it. I don't know what's the English of these fruits but kids from 90's love these.
