One in 175 pregnancies end in stillbirth, and in many cases, the cause is unknown. Tsegaselassie Workalemahu, PhD, MSc, shares how a background in mathematics is helping him find the genetic causes of stillbirth, with the goal of bringing closure to families and improving infants’ health.
