The French Revolution is such a fascinating period in history. It’s almost like a fable for countries to take to take to heart; watch out for the excesses of the aristocracy of society or that country will experience the worst excesses of revolution, anarchy and even a new tyranny that reestablishes order.

If France had successfully transitioned to a Constitutional Monarchy, Louis XVI would have been a remarkable monarch. And years of war and destruction would have been avoided. But it is what it is. May a King come back, but to be the best guarantor of a mature Democracy. Montjoie Saint Denis! 🔵⚜️🔴

he was a terrible monarch and the entire reason it did not stay a constitutional monarchy was because he and his family tried to flee the country to join with the austrians and destroy the revolution there is no one more to blame for the french revolution than louis xvi
