Improvisatory, and at times even whimsical, with brilliant finger work, and very personal expression. He played much differently in his recording sessions. Very enjoyable.

Fabulous! Chopin so tender and perfectly played and especially of the Etude in E Major, Op. 10 No.3. What an ARTISTE, the best is Horowitz. Thank you for this beautiful KZitem playing by Horowitz in 1947. So extremely sublime!!! This Classical Rarities find is invaluable and so very refreshing.

Wow.....nuance and passion. Always heart and soul music from Horowitz...and technique!!!!
Simply amazing. In his halcyon days VH delivered the most incredible pianoplaying the world has ever heard. And in later days he continued to do that.

@@ToskoOv Yep i hope you enjoyed it. The funny thing is, You can hear Chopin's Barcarole also in the end of this transcription from Bach... kzitem.info/news/bejne/1YR_26Z3cJ9mlaw, and you can hear a Polonaise from Chopin in some sonata from Beethoven, listen to W Backhaus version, an amazing one. I forgot which sonata.

You have to listen past the hiss, these acetates capture his tone and dynamic range with far greater fidelity than his commercial recordings.
