Is it worth buying bulk lego and sorting it? In my opinion? Not really. There are exceptions to everything, but I think this one falls into the rarely. I will however buy processed or sorted bulk when the appropriate project and price point call for it. I will definitely buy mixed bags of things I mostly need, for instance, a bag of green plates or a bag of assorted grey wedges. Do I pay more for this? Absolutely and I am happy to pay more. Someone took the time to sort and process true bulk to get to that, and their time is worth something too. Time that I save sorting is time that I can be using to create and build and plan.
That's just my two cents... do you agree? Let me know below...

My name is Travis and I'm an AFOL! I've been serious collecting Lego since 2021. I collect a little bit of everything from Star Wars to Fabuland to Pirates to CMFs. My biggest continual project is my city. The city is currently about 112 baseplates and always in constant evolution. When I started out with the city it was 21 baseplates and I never imagined when I started it would grow to this size. My collection has quickly overtaken my office that I now call the Lego Room. My favorite themes are Vidiyo, Dreamzzz, CMFs, Pirates, and anything I can use in my city.
