Honestly, you are the most honest and calming person I have ever found on here. I recognize so much of myself in what you say, with the down days and being a pessimistic person. I've struggled always with being present and it does me good to know that there are other people like that too, with the internet being a super optimistic and focused on productivity place sometimes. Thank you for being so real and for all the vlogs. Btw your style in clothes, interior and everything else basically is so beautiful. you're an inspiration X

I have been doing the Nike Club guided runs for a few weeks now, enjoying and finding them really helpful. I remember when I did the morning one with Headspace for the first time, I felt emotional listening to it, it made such a difference to my day. I also found the things they talked about profound, they’re reminders of what’s important and how to see and deal with certain aspects of our life... Because of that, my daily runs have definitely developed into something more than just steps xx

At the time it's hard to see a way out but they do pass and things start feel a little more manageable again. The information you shared about the Nike x Headspace run was so insightful and sounds like just the tonic we need in this time. Loved 1917, went to the cinema quite a few times to see it (have odeon limitless!) such a good film, the music, the editing, it’s such a good film. I had a really anxious day on Friday, this year has been so bad with my dads death a few weeks before covid19, then the whole covid situation, job stuff etc, I’ve enjoyed a lot of lockdown because the usual stuff stopped and allowed me to breathe for a bit, now it’s getting back to normal I feel I’m not ready for it

What you said when you were on your run really resonated with me. At the beginning of this lockdown I was actually quite excited to make something of my time and take some breathing space, however now the uncertainty of the future and the repetitiveness of each day is making me feel very stuck. I don’t mean to say this to be negative, what I’m really trying to say is thank you so much for talking about your emotions during lockdown so openly. It is so helpful and reassuring to know that other people are feeling very similar. Your vlogs are a delight and the highlight of my week. They are visually beautiful, while also being engaging and relaxing to watch. I’m very glad and appreciative you let us in on your life so kindly.

Your talk at the lake came at the perfect time. I'm in the middle of hand-rolling pasta and I feel completely unproductive and flat. And yet, I'm staring at a project I would have killed to be doing "if I'd only had the time". I can't help but think about all the time I have that I am not "using well"; and thinking about what the future will hold (will i continue to make pasta and bread for myself? how can I find the time and patience to continue to follow my impulses? etc etc). It seems like such a leap to learn to think about the present moment.
@BrittanyBathgate1
4 жыл бұрын
It's really difficult right?! I think about those moments all the time. I'm like this is the time I wanted to do these things, so why am I not using it?! Learning to be present definitely takes time because you effectively have to train re train your brain to not over think things.
