I think the locals at my town don’t really care a lot the deals or maybe they don’t take any notice of it. That’s nice that you have friends at the Asian supermarket. For my town here, I have 3 asian supermarket and things here are way more pricy than buying from supermarket. We have 1 online brand that sold these ‘ 2nd ‘ vegetables! It does helps to save a lot but because we are a couple, even when we bought the small box, it can be a lot of vegetables. We are bless with this veg farmer store here called crazy pumpkin! They usually have a lot of good deals during weekends! Anyway my partner went to help up in Auckland and he mentioned that the public transport here is costly and even the parking fee can be crazy. Our bus transfer here is $2 a trip and parking is $3!
