As someone who isn't creative, I can't even imagine having to keep come up with new content ideas! With your upcoming season, I would love to see all the house, moving, decorating, organizing, etc. content! Even if I'm not moving, I always find those things interesting! And all the wedding content you want to share! I'm already married, but I'm so happy for you two, so it's a joy to watch all of it ❤

As a self-employed graphic designer for many years, I totally get the worry about running out of ideas. Many times I’ve joked that ‘this idea may be the last one I’ll ever have’ when working on a project. Living the creative life does have its share of stresses, but it’s worth it. I only run out of ideas when I’m overworked, btw :) this video was encouraging to know it’s not just me!

I love this type of video! I think a video in the realm of "A work day in my life" would perform well, since I see lots of people doing them. So, not as focused as this one, but still focused on the work day with the other things you do as well. You're gonna have lots of ideas for videos with the wedding, house works (which I think everybody is into) and you can always check out keywords for whatever specific craft or DIY thing people are looking into and do a video on that (preparation, haul and actual DIY project). Especially for the house. Have you ever thought about selling a course on how to start a YT video? You could develop that one, really in detail, showing how you did things in the beginning and how to move forward (how to look for a manager, how to look for an editor, etc.), so that people can follow along, and sell it on teachable or some other platform. That's gonna take time to record but once it's done, it's gonna be a good source of income, I think.

Clicked on this right away. Thank you for sharing and I'd love to see more BTS glimpses like this in the future. It truly helps us appreciate the hard work that goes into every piece of content, whether it moves or not. Plus, it's so validating for those of us who are also creating content. ANY job has hard things, boring things, scary things. They all have to get done anyway, and they're mostly done behind the scenes. I totally relate to you on the IRS/tax things, as well as running out of ideas. I'm great at churning out a huge list to start with AND planning too much for myself so I end up burnt out before I even get started. And then there's the fear of putting myself out there because vulnerability with many is terrifying. (Yes, I'm pulling the introvert card.) And how the heck is it that I overwork myself without being full-time at this? It's all a head game... I definitely need some of that ruthless elimination of hurry. I was talking with God the other day about my latest self-made overwhelm and he was like "What if you just sell one thing?" and I was like "Wait. That's scarier. But. Also. That makes so much sense." So I'm trying to strip back all my plans and just do the simple. Blessings!

Found this really interesting! I knew there was a lot of stuff behind the scenes that I had no clue about, so thanks for sharing. If you did want to outsource your tagging, you could have your part-time employee make a little catalog of your clothes/objects with pictures and then they could take the first pass and you can just edit the links if they got them wrong. This is definitely a job, and people should have a much better appreciation for what the behind the scenes work entails. Because so much of KZitem seems just like people are casually filming their day (and some of it is that, but you can see the difference in quality from what you provide), that people forget that if they were watching a cable tv show that there would be lots of people doing all sorts of business-like things behind the scenes. Hang in there. Lots on your plate in this next year, but it's all good.

I'm updating this: because I'm watching the entire video and pausing and unpausing when I have downtime to watch and focus on everything Michel is saying. One thing I've seen in your videos "you talk about creator burnout," is that you'll figure it out. Look at how much you've overcome in your personal life that you've shared with us and look at how successful this channel has been, I just want to encourage you to take small steps, over time those steps when focused with intense effort create the momentum you are looking for. I know from watching most of all your content, you've helped me as a content creator, you've helped me during my 2nd marriage separation with your relationship advice and vlogs. Like, you're gonna figure it out Michel, because it's your nature to do so, but because you are a creator and from one creator to another that's what we do, we figure things out. Awesome video! Can you include links to that software you use for tags?

For the links, if you wanted to hire someone to do it, you could go through basically everything you own and create a spreadsheet. Have the image, where its from, name, best link and % (so its comparable if there becomes a better linking option). Then anything new you get in, they could handle entering the links and looking into which links are best. A lot of work up front but maybe worth it one day
