One of the best covers of a song ever, and still after listening to this song for probably more than a 100 times, I still get goose bumps & tear up :( This man had the type of voice that could look into your eyes, and touch the deepest parts of your soul.......one of a kind singer that will be forever missed :( RIP Great One, and thanks for sharing your gift with us before you had to leave......

I began crying as soon as he started singing. What an incredible version. I love his emotion, goes right to my solar plexus. Chris Cornell was such a talented musician and songwriter. He is sadly missed. Thank you for this video, Beth.

The first time I saw this, wasn't long after Prince passed, and now with Chris gone too it's pretty hard to watch. Also, for me right now, my personal life is in a shambles, so the actual lyrics hit hard. Still, great song, great cover and I loved your reaction and analysis! Thank you Beth!

Just an insanely gifted vocalist. It was just effortless for him. As far as 90s vocalists go, there was Chris Cornell and there was everyone else. Wherever he is, I hope he’s finally found peace.

He effortlessly could emote his pain into his music from day one. Its just his way, he had the most amazing gift of this century and in turn shared it with the world. I miss him so, so much. 💔😓

Not depression. He had developed a dependency on some benzos prescribed for a torn shoulder injury. They had an adverse effect.

There is a brazillian metal singer called André Matos, who unfortunatelly passed away last saturday (06/08). I really recomend you to check his work, a wonderful singer with a very high pitch singing. I believe you will love his voice. He had a very strong classical background.

when i was a teenager, he had a friend pass away. Another singer of a band called Mother Love Bone, Andrew Wood, a band that after his passing would become Pearl Jam. To memorialize him, they recorded an album called Temple of the dog, featured members of Sound Garden, and what would become Pearl Jam. that album, was one of many that saved my life. Also....yea you have an accent....an absolutely adorable one.

Chris's voice always brought a compendium of emotions to my ear, until his suicide. Now, It only brings sorrow. As much as I loved to hear him rip the paint off the walls over the decades, I can barely stand hearing him sing a single tune. RIP.
